Today was our last day of staff orientation. We already had a few campers show up as well as our counselors in training (CITs). I also moved into the staff room in the gigabyte girls dorm.

The majority of the day was spent getting the camp ready for campers, it was crazy. I felt like I just couldn't catch up with everything because it was one thing after another and we weren't really following our schedule. I somehow managed to get my robotics lab all set up, however IT is still working on my network and making sure the correct software is installed on all of the computers.

Lastly, we had our final circle for staff orientation where a few of us said something about the past week that was important to us. I actually stood up and told everyone that the openness, support, and just the general nonjudgmental love was something that I haven't experienced in such a large group before. Very rarely do you get to sit across from your boss in the cafeteria and have a casual conversation. I said a few more things and afterwards everyone kept telling me that they really liked what I said.

Tomorrow I meet my campers, which is both exciting and crazy. I can't believe staff orientation is already over.
